A seller in ebay has a lot of responsibility.This simple checklist will help you keep on top of things and set yourself a quality standard.

Here we go: You should have a good grasp over the features of the item you are trying to sell.Unless you know how to convince a customer about the features and the plus points of your product,you cannot make a success out of selling on ebay or for that matter anywhere in the world.If you want to know more about the product you are trying to  sell punch the name of the product into the search engines.You might come across something you didn't know. If someone else is selling the same thing as you, then always try to provide more information about it than they do. Monitor your competition: It is advisable to keep track of the price at which items similiar to yours are being put up for sale.Even a minor difference could make a huge difference from selling your product. Get photos of your product:If your product is supported by an image,it would be easier to sell.It's worth taking the time to photograph your items,especially if you have a digital camera.If you are trying to make a full time income from selling one ebay,i would suggest you to get yourself a digital camera,for taking images of your product. Follow up your buyers. Email them thaking your buyer for purchasing from you.Give them your direct telephone number.Keep in touch through email sending them an occasional list of products.Sometimes you may be sell your item even before you put up the same for sale in ebay.Make it a habit of checking your email daily.You may receive enquiries from potential buyers any moment.Response to these mails are of utmost importance in establishing yourself. Description,of your item as elaborately as possible.Take care to cover all important questions your buyer might ask.For a start i  would suggest to keep delivery of your products to your local country.In case you are offering international delivery,then it's a good to make a list of the charges applicable to different counties and display it on each auction/sale. If you have any special terms and conditions,for eg., if you plan to give a refund on any item as long as it hasn't been opened, then that should be mentioned below your description.Avoid any false claims. Packing:Maintain a proffessional standard.Make your parcel damage-proof and attractive at the same time.Deliver through a high class parcel service.Do not try to save money here.Follow up the delivery through email or phone as to whether it has reached  our customer.You might think that you are giving your customer an opportunity to complain.Well if their complaint is genuine i would suggest solving their complaint goes a long way in establishing your credibility.
